Code Rood mass action against fossil-gas extraction, Groningen (NL)

From 24.-31. of Augusts hundreds of climate-justice activists gathered in Groningen in the Netherlands to protest the NAM, Shell and Exxon, and their fossil-gas extraction in the Dutch region of Groningen.
By hosting a climate camp and organizing an action of mass civil disobedience, the campaign succesfully connected the local struggles with the European climate-justice movement, and blocked the NAM for several days.
In the days leading up to the action, Free the Soil alongside the Fossil-Free Agriculture-campaign held a workshop at the camp, spreading awareness about the connection between industrial agriculture and fossil-gas.
